Hi everyone. My husband has ED, and the GP has prescribed Viagra, however it is not available on the NHS, does anyone know the reason for this please? The private prescription the GP has given him is expensive, would it be worth trying to buy it online?

Men whose ED is associated with any of the following conditions are eligible to receive treatment on an NHS prescription:

Parkinson’s disease
polio
prostate cancer
removal of the prostate gland (prostatectomy, including men who have had a transurethral resection of the prostate)
radical pelvic surgery
severe pelvic injury
