Free Viagra!…For Only a Few People in Northern France

Postby admin on Wed May 22, 2019 3:00 pm

A French mayor has conjured a perhaps bizarre way of boosting the local town’s birth rate – offering free Viagra to couples that live in the town.

Jean Debouzy, the mayor of Montereau, in the Loiret, in northern France, has issued a decree stating he was ‘favourable to the distribution of the little blue pills’.

He said he was taking action due to the declining number of children, which has resulted in two local schools being at risk from closure.

“A village without children is a village that dies,” the mayor commented.

According to reports, couples aged between 18 and 40 years of age already residing in the small village of only 600 people – and indeed others that decide to move there from elsewhere – are eligible for the free pills.

Before residents of the town get too excited, the mayor has since come out and admitted that he has not actually obtained a supply of the drugs and would also require the local council’s approval.

In addition, the local council is soon to discuss a proposed bonus for all couples living in the village upon the birth of any child.

It is believed that a feeling of decline in provincial towns has partly caused months of the Yellow Vest fury at the government and French establishment.

However, Mr Debouzy is not the only mayor in the Loiret to use decrees to raise an issue. Recently, the mayor of Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois issued an order stopping constituents from falling sick, to highlight the lack of doctors in the area.

Medical Specialists® however have to question the legalities and logistics of mayor Dedouzy’s admiral yet controversial plans to give away Viagra pills like they are bars of chocolate.

It has not been mentioned if the men of the town of Montereau will have any kind of health check or consultation prior to being given Viagra. After all, Viagra is a prescription-only medicine of course and as effective as the drug is for treating erectile dysfunction, it is not suited for those taking nitrates for chest pain, or those with low blood pressure or have recently had a heart attack or stroke.

Hopefully, the mayor is already aware of such issues and has put plans into place to minimise potential harm to residents of the town.
